HARTFORD, CT—The Hartford Financial Services Group has named Ann Glover group senior vice president and director of corporate relations. She succeeds Edward Morgan, who retires October 31.

Glover joined The Hartford in November 2000 as senior vice president of corporate marketing, which includes advertising, branding and corporate identity. She has since assumed additional responsibility as director of corporate communications, including news media relations and executive and employee communications. In addition to her current duties, Glover will be accountable for Connecticut government affairs and community relations.

According to Hartford chairman and CEO Ramani Ayer, “Ann is an insightful and creative marketing professional who has already helped shape the company’s brand as a powerful symbol of strength, integrity and innovation.”

Prior to joining The Hartford, Glover spent 13 years at PepsiCo, where she had a number of key marketing positions.
