Golin Creates Lead Analytics Role In Asia

HONG KONG—Golin has hired Burson-Marsteller's Calvin Wong for a newly-created role overseeing research and analytics in Asia.

Wong joins Golin after four years in research and analytics roles at Burson-Marsteller and Penn Schoen Berland.

At Golin, Wong will report to Golin Asia's head of digital innovation Zaheer Nooruddin. "

"[Wong] will help accelerate the development of Golin's g4 model 'explorer' communities across Asia," said Nooruddin, referring to the agency unit that houses insight and measurement solutions.

"Today marketing-communications measurement must go beyond vanity metrics," said Wong. "Relevant, data-driven insights are fundamental to all communications work."

Prior to joining PSB in 2010, Wong worked in the US as a systems analyst at ExxonMobil.
