PARIS—GolinHarris has added a new office in Paris to serve the French market. The public relations and lobbying department of Lowe Stratéus, the Paris-based subsidiary of Golin sister company Lowe Worldwide, is being rebranded under the GolinHarris name. Julie Gaye, a ten-year veteran of Lowe Stratéus, has been confirmed as managing director of GolinHarris Paris. Key clients of the new operation include Bureau Veritas, Road Safety, ADEME (the French energy and environment agency) and the State Department of Work.

Working closely with the agency’s U.K. office—headed by Matt Neale and Jonathan Hughes, recently appointed to lead the firm’s European operations—the new office has won its first new account in its first month of business. Global visual media provider Corbis has selected GolinHarris Paris to manage its communications in France following a three-way pitch.  GolinHarris London also works with Corbis for U.K. domestic work.

The new French operation is the latest move by GolinHarris to expand its business in Europe, where it has doubled in size over the last three years. “Despite tough economic conditions, we are very serious about growing our brand in the region,” says Neale.

The firm had opened a Stockholm office last year.
