HOUSTON—In advance of Major League Baseball All-Star Week festivities in Houston this summer, Major League Baseball Properties has selected Golin/Harris International as its public relations agency to support John Hancock All-Star FanFest.

The largest baseball fan event in the nation, John Hancock All-Star FanFest captures the thrills and excitement of baseball with interactive exhibits and attractions, Major League clinics and seminars, free autograph sessions, live entertainment, memorabilia and more.

The agency account team, led by Gary Rudnick, executive vice president and managing director of Golin/Harris Houston, will execute an aggressive public relations program to build momentum for John Hancock All-Star FanFest, to increase local community and media awareness, to build a volunteer base and to drive consumers to the five-day event.

“The Golin/Harris team provides us with local and national media relations expertise, and the passion and enthusiasm to help us achieve our communications goals,” said Morgan Littlefield, director of special events for Major League Baseball.  “We are working together to develop and execute a communications program for John Hancock All-Star FanFest that is strategic, far-reaching, action-oriented and most importantly, fan-friendly.”
