MADRID—Grupo Albión, one of the leading corporate and financial communications agencies in Spain, and Cunha Vaz & Associados, a market leader in the same field in Portugal, have joined forces to develop their businesses together in Iberia and Latin America. The 50-50 joint venture between the two firms will operate as Iberian Corporate Communications and will offer a broad range of communications services via team of 55 professionals, working in six languages from the headquarters of both companies.

The two firms have worked together on capital markets projects worth more than €15 billion euros, as well as on shared, retained accounts, over the last five years.

Says Paget Langford-Holt, CEO of Grupo Albión: “Our aim as a company is to build value
at every stage of our development. Our joint venture will start as a market leader. We will create immediate opportunities in the traditional markets of our respective countries overseas and, at the same time, be the natural choice for European or Latin American companies looking at the Iberian market.”

António Cunha Vaz, chairman of CV&A says the two firms see opportunities for cross-border activity in Iberia and want to offer our clients access to core markets in Latin America, where he says the two firms will build through organic growth and selective acquisitions.
