Tamayo, who has served as president of H+K Mexico for 17 years and led some of the firm’s most important client accounts in the region, will report to H+K global chairman Jack Martin.

He assumes the role previously held by Luis de la Calle, a former official with the Mexican government, who will now serve as senior advisor for H+K Latin America.

Tamayo has expertise in corporate communication, particularly in crisis management, and in advising healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.
