BOSTON, MA—Hoover’s, a D&B company, has selected Shift Communications as its agency of record for public relations and social media. The Hoover's account will be serviced out of Shift’s Boston office.

"The communications and public relations landscape has drastically changed as result of the uptick in social media," said James Rogers, vice president of marketing at Hoover's. "In an effort to innovate ahead of this change, we selected an agency that's spearheading smart B2B social media and partnering that same engagement model with traditional PR."

The Hoover's win comes on the heels of other high-profile additions to the SHIFT roster in the past 6 months, including Logitech, Taser International, Pitney Bowes Business Insight, and Overstock.com.
