ATLANTA, August 21—Tony Hobson, a 30-year veteran of the Atlanta marketing community and former chief executive of two Atlanta-based promotions agencies, has joined local PR shop Hope-Beckham as vice president of marketing services.

Hobson had been running his own promotions agency, Hobson & Associates, since leaving Adair-Greene, where he was president of the marketing communications division when it was sold to McCann-Erickson two years ago. Prior to Adair-Greene, Hobson was founder and co-owner of Hobson Barnes &
Associates for 12 years.

“One of our strengths is our ability to provide very senior counseling to the top executives of our client companies, and it takes people with deep and meaningful experience like Tony to deal at that level,” says Hope Beckham chairman Paul Beckham. “There are only a half dozen executives in Atlanta with the
marketing savvy of a Tony Hobson, and we are pleased to have the original as a member of our team.”
