LONDON—Huntsworth Group subsidiaries Harrison Cowley and Trimedia U.K. are merging to form a new company, Trimedia Harrison Cowley. The two firms have U.K. revenues of more than £11million and employ 147 consultants, enough to make the merged agency one of the top 15 in the U.K., with Harrison Cowley’s offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle. Norwich and Southampton. Vikki Stace, formerly CEO of Trimedia U.K., will become chairman and Paul Kelly will become CEO, having previously held the same position at Harrison Cowley. Loretta Tobin has been named managing director and Graham Isdale, a former founder of The BIG Partnership, has joined to head up the Scottish operation of the new company. Trimedia Harrison Cowley will become the largest company within Trimedia International, which will now have 30 wholly owned offices across 11 European countries. In partnership with sister agency Mmd, recently acquired by Huntsworth, the network now employs 691 consultants across 48 offices and 29 countries. According to Kelly, who will report to Trimedia International chief executive Michael Murphy, “Trimedia UK and Harrison Cowley have co-operated closely and successfully in the past, and this is the next logical step to accelerate complementary growth strategies. The fit is remarkable and because of this both sides of this merger are confident that we will bring the benefits of dramatically increased scale and expertise to bear for all our existing and potential clients.”
