LISBON—The Public Relations Global Network has added five new affiliates during the consortium’s recent meeting in Lisbon. The newly inducted agencies are Ad verum, which serves clients in the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia; Ardency Consulting, a full-service marketing and PR consultancy in Bulgaria; Canadian independent Media Profile; Copenhagen-based Scandinavian Communications; and Two cents, a Brussels-based corporate PR and marketing services firm.

SAN DIEGO—Nuffer Smith Tucker is opening an office in Tijuana, Baja California, building on the San Diego-based firm’s work in southern California and the connection of San Diego and Tijuana’s economies, people, and flow of goods and services. The agency has also added two new staff members, Kathia Bustillos and Analicia Luken, to its team of binational and bicultural communications professionals. Both will be based in the agency’s new Tijuana office.


TORONTO—McMillan, a leading Canadian business law firm, has launched McMillan Vantage Policy Group, a national full-service public affairs consultancy. Working through McMillan offices in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and Hong Kong, McMillan Vantage Policy Group offers government relations counsel, policy and regulatory analysis, and strategic communications to private sector clients. Robyn Osgood has joined lead the strategic communications practice of the consultancy.

AUSTIN—Links WorldGroup, an integrated marketing communications agency headquartered in Miami, has promoted Eric Nathal to vice president and opened a joint office in Austin with MAPR, a technology public relations and digital marketing agency. Nathal has served as director at Links since November 2015.
