DiGennaro forms Australian partnership, Dukas launches social media practice, Brazlian firm joins IPREX, Calysto forges research alliance.

NEW YORK—New York -based DiGennaro Communications has expanded its global network to the Asia-Pacific through a strategic partnership with Access PR. Founded by former journalist Andrea Kerekes and based in Sydney with offices in Melbourne, Access PR will supplement DGC’s existing partnership with the UK-based Eulogy!, which began in February 2012. As part of this new alliance, DGC, Eulogy! and Access will collaborate to offer cross-border strategic development and activations for both existing clients and prospects.

NEW YORK—Financial public relations firm Dukas Public Relations has launched a social media practice group that will provide social media counsel and digital strategy by asset management and financial services companies. The firm has named Stephanie Dressler as vice president and head of digital strategy. Dressler joined DPR in 2011, and was previously senior associate at strategic communications consultancy Montieth & Company.

MILWAUKEE, WI—Brazilian agency Casa da Notícia Comunicação, based in São Paulo, has joined IPREX, the global network of communication agencies. It joins existing IPREX partner Item Comunicação, also based in São Paulo, and brings experience of working with international companies in a range of industry sectors, particularly construction, automotive, entertainment, industry and health, finance and consultancy services. In addition to media relations, the agency offers events, media training, crisis communication and content and social media management.

ATLANTA—Calysto, which provides content marketing, social media marketing and public relations for the mobile and telecom industries, is partnering with Compass Intelligence, a global acceleration research and consulting firm. Its services include strategy acceleration, consulting and ideation services, market segmentation, market research/intelligence, and competitive analysis in the telecom, mobility, IT, M2M, and network markets.
