MIAMI—The Jeffrey Group, which specializes in reaching U.S. Hispanic and Latin American audiences, has promoted Mike Valdés-Fauli to president, working alongside Jeffrey Sharlach, founder and CEO and Brian Burlingame, chief operating officer. In addition, Juan Sanchez, a vice president at the agency from 1993 until 2002, will be rejoining as senior counselor.
Jorge Ortega, who had been president of the firm since 2005, has resigned to pursue other interests.

Valdés-Fauli, a graduate of Tulane University, previously held corporate and agency positions in Miami, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., with firms including Arenas Entertainment, Conexión PR and Fleishman-Hillard before joining The Jeffrey Group in 2004.
