LAKE FOREST, CA—Restaurant chain The Johnny Rockets Group has hired Hill & Knowlton as public relations agency of record. The growing retro restaurant chain will look to H&K for strategic communications guidance in extending the Johnny Rockets brand with consumer campaigns, events and promotional initiatives, all designed to create brand buzz and increase awareness.

The Johnny Rockets corporate team, based in Lake Forest, California will work closely with Hill & Knowlton in both Irvine and Los Angeles, tapping into the agency’s experience with consumer goods, restaurants and franchised organizations.
The firm will be asked to help promote recent and future restaurant openings as well as additions to the Johnny Rockets menu in the coming months. It will also play a central role in responding to all media inquiries and requests, as well as provide crisis communications support.
