LONDON—Wall Street Institute, a leading English language school and part of the Pearson Group, has hired London’s Kaizo and Italian PR firm Business Press to carry out a global social media audit. The study is being conducted in 10 countries—including Argentina, China, Germany, Thailand and Turkey—on all major continents.

The audit will assess the extent of online conversations about learning English and about the Wall Street Institute brand. It will also measure the share of voice across a range of social media platforms in comparison to WSI’s main competitor in each country and create an assessment of WSI’s online recommendability, using Kaizo’s bespoke Online Recommendability Score.

According to Jim McGowan, VP operations at WSI: “Supporting the needs of a global franchise like WSI means we need to understand the nature of online conversations on a global scale. The Kaizo/Business Press partnership were the only company we approached that had the capability to deliver a global audit of this type. The fact that they have offices in all our target countries and can carry out the field work with native language speakers, who also understand the local social media landscape, set them head and shoulders above the competition.”
