LONDON—Ketchum has added two senior staff to its London office, hiring Richard Griffiths from management consultancy KPMG and transferring corporate specialist Tracey Maffeo from Ketchum’s New York operations.

Griffiths joins as head of strategic media, a new position designed to add consulting capacity to clients in both traditional and new media and will report to Ketchum London deputy chief executive Nick Propper. Griffiths was most recently head of broadcast and new media for KPMG in London, and before that held a number of journalist posts at the BBC.

Maffeo joins as a practice group director in corporate affairs, reporting to recently appointed managing director Patrick Barrow. She has been with Ketchum since 1998, most recently supporting the agency’s global relationship with FedEx Corporation. She will continue to advise FedEx in her new capacity along with supporting the agency’s growing portfolio of corporate and institutional assignments, including the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage.
