TOKYO—Minoru Koshida has joined Fleishman-Hillard Japan as senior vice president for training, crisis and issues management. Koshida will spearhead the next-stage development of Fleishman-Hillard Japan’s offerings in CEO coaching, media training, crisis preparedness/response and issues management. He will also consult on new product development and consulting services expansion initiatives, and play an active role in broadening the firm’s strategic financial services.

Koshida comes from Hill & Knowlton Japan. He began his career as a research analyst and trader at a commodity brokerage firm, then served as a Reuters correspondent in Tokyo and New York for more than 17 years, before moving into communications consulting.

According to Fleishman-Hillard Japan president Shin Tanaka, Koshida help the firm respond “to growing client needs as Japan, Inc., is facing unprecedented communications challenges locally and abroad, and as multinationals continue to identify the best ways to succeed in the Japanese market.”
