LONDON—Personal finance website thisismoney.co.uk has appointed Cohn & Wolfe and Propaganda as its consumer and corporate communications agencies respectively. This is Money, operated by Associated Northcliffe Digital, provides independent advice and assistance for people looking to save and make money on their important financial decisions.

Cohn & Wolfe’s core brief is to build awareness of the site as the independent champion of personal finance solutions and to engage with a consumer audience spanning 20-somethings to “silver-surfers.” Propaganda’s assignment focuses on developing advertisers’ understanding of the opportunities for engaging with their financial services audience, and encouraging them to experiment with new ideas to build their brand online with This is Money.

The Cohn & Wolfe team will be led by associate director James Ruane. Nick Blythe, PR director at Propaganda, will lead the consultancy’s team of three.
