MUMBAI—Lewis PR, the global technology public relations firm, is opening its 20th office in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. The office will be led by general manager Cyrus Jogina, who will report to Erin Atan, vice president of Lewis Asia.

Lewis India will launch with five staff and clients including Brocade, Omnitech InfoSolutions and WatchGuard Technologies. The operation also has a database management capability working on research and telemarketing and currently manages a database for RSA Security.

Jogina joins Lewis from boutique technology PR agency 3C-PR, which he started after eight years in the PR industry, consulting clients in the technology sector. He has managed the PR programs in India for Symantec, NAI and Trend Micro. He was also involved in the launch of Baazee.com, a leading Indian online auction portal, prior to its acquisition by eBay.

Lewis already has a presence in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, but the new office is its first in India. According to Jogina, “The Indian technology sector has grown and matured over the past few years, and I think Lewis is well placed to take advantage of this growth.”
