SAN FRANCISCO—Technology public relations specialist Lewis PR has acquired social media agency Page One PR in an all-cash transaction. U.K.-based Lewis embarked on an acquisition strategy last year with its purchase last year of Belgian firm Leads United, and the latest deal will enhance its social media and digital communications capabilities as well as its U.S. operations.

Page One’s clients include Cisco, McAfee, Polycom, SAP, and VMware, as well as several early-stage start-ups backed by Accel, Benchmark, Kleiner Perkins, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia and other venture capital firms.

The firm was founded in 2003 by Lonn Johnston, president, and Craig Oda, managing partner, and has offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto. Page One will operate as a subsidiary of Lewis, reporting into Lewis executive vice president, Morgan McLintic, who heads North American operations.
