NEW YORK—Euro RSCG Magnet PR, coming off a tumultuous year that culminated in the appointment of John Margaritis as executive director, has added four new assignments for more than $1 million in new revenue.

The firm has been named agency of record assignment for both Vichy Laboratoires, a leading skincare brand in European pharmacies, and Dermablend Coverage Cosmetics, both L’Oréal brands. Magnet’s consumer group will direct media relations for Dermablend and will guide the public relations strategy for Vichy Laboratoires in the United States.

“Euro RSCG Magnet has impressed us with its creativity, expertise and understanding of our business,” said Helena Wayth, assistant VP of marketing for the two divisions.

Magnet has also been named agency of record for Motown Legends Casino.net and Motown Legends Cafe.com. The global assignment includes the launch of both sites, as well as media relations surrounding an international music concert tour featuring various Motown legends.

In addition, the Skoll Foundation—founded in 1999 by eBay founding president Jeff Skoll—has appointed Euro RSCG Magnet as its agency of record to help raise awareness of the Foundation and its mission to promote the work of social entrepreneurs. One of Magnet’s first projects is the promotion of the 2006 class of Skoll Social Entrepreneurs, and the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University
