Manning to Lead PR Effort for Cosmetic Surgery Foundation

The Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, the education and research arm of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, has selected Manning Selvage & Lee as its public relations agency of record. MS&L’s Chicago office will lead the account.

CHICAGO—The Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, the education and research arm of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, has selected Manning Selvage & Lee as its public relations agency of record.  MS&L’s Chicago office will lead the account.

The firm will execute a public relations and patient education campaign for the growing medical specialty of cosmetic surgery, including media relations outreach and counsel, viral marketing initiatives and a branding campaign. 

The CSF was formed in 2000 to represent the educational and research interests of cosmetic surgery and its practitioners.  The CSF is committed to advancing the science of cosmetic surgery and enhancing patient safety and trust and is looking to promote public awareness and advance the specialty through a targeted PR campaign.

“We’re eager to work with MS&L to help educate consumers about cosmetic surgery and the qualifications of its practitioners,” said Craig Sondalle, executive director of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation. “Our goal is to enhance safety by providing complete information so patients can make informed choices.”
