SAN FRANCISCO — Boston PR shop March Communications has expanded with two new offices in San Francisco and Chicago.

The 30-person tech firm hired Madge Miller as SVP to lead its West Coast operation, meanwhile manager Erica Frank has relocated to Chicago to establish that location. Before  joining March, Miller spent nearly six years at Voce Communications (owned by Porter Novelli), most recently as VP, and before that, worked at MWW.

In 2013, March grew 18% taking in $2.6 million in revenues with clients like CSR, Pitney Bowes and Comptel. While the San Francisco operation is aimed at giving March a stronger play in the area’s booming tech scene, the Chicago outpost is intended to give the firm an early start in that city’s nascent tech sector.
