NEW YORK--Michele Clarke has departed Waggener Edstrom, after barely a year heading the firm’s corporate practice and New York office.

Clarke confirmed the news when reached by the Holmes Report. She joined the firm in September 2010 after departing an MD position at Brainerd Communications, where she had spent eight years.

Prior to Brainerd, Clarke held senior roles at WPP firms Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton.

In a statement, a Waggener Edstrom spokesman said: “We can confirm that Michele Clarke is no longer with Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. We thank Michele for her contributions and wish her all the best in future endeavors.”
