COSTA MESA, CA—Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has engaged GolinHarris for product-based public relations services. The agency assisted with the launch of Mitsubishi’s new LaserVue HDTV at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, and will continue to provide ongoing public relations activities for LaserVue, as well as the company's entire line of LCD and DLP HDTVs.

The scope of the assignment includes ongoing strategic counsel, visibility, and domestic media and analyst relations. The account will be led out of the agency’s Orange County office by Traci Renner, senior vice president.

“As the leader in the growing large-format television market, we needed a strong media relations partner with a keen understanding of the consumers we are trying to reach. From the blogosphere to the highest level of national consumer exposure, we were impressed with GolinHarris' wide-ranging capabilities,” says Frank DeMartin, vice president of marketing at Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America.
