MS&L Promotes Cranford to Lead Health and Advocacy

MS&L has promoted Judith Cranford to managing director, health and advocacy, and appointed Clare Lucker as the company’s new U.K. head of healthcare folowing significant growth in 2008.

LONDON—MS&L has promoted   Judith Cranford to managing director, health and advocacy, and appointed Clare Lucker as the company’s new U.K. head of healthcare folowing significant growth in 2008, with the addition of new business from Novartis, Bayer Schering Pharma and Solvay amongst others.      

Prior to joining MS&L, Lucker was a director and head of PR at specialist healthcare agency Axon Communications. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the healthcare arena, including a significant number of years spent in-house on pharmaceutical marketing campaigns for Nutricia and Fisons before she moved agency-side in 2000. She began her career within the NHS and brings strong expertise in a broad range of therapeutic areas. Cranford will continue to be based in the London office and work across a portfolio of international clients. She will also take on responsibility for building MS&L’s European healthcare network and working with colleagues in Washington, Brussels and Boston on public affairs issues.    

MS&L’s health and wellness clients include Bayer Shering Pharma, Beckton Dickinson, Coca-Cola GB, Eli Lilly & Co, the Global Healthcare Fund, the Health & Safety Executive, Novartis Consumer Health, Philips Healthcare, Procter & Gamble, sanofi-aventis and Solvay.
