LONDON—Manning Selvage & Lee has been selected as the global communications partner by the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, TAQA, to support the company’s global expansion. The $16 billion integrated energy investment company, headquartered in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, selected MS&L and its financial communications subsidiary Capital MS&L to provide integrated support across corporate communications, investor relations, public affairs, internal communications and digital.

The program MS&L is designing for TAQA will develop a global communications infrastructure for the business, as well as ‘on-the-ground’ implementation support in its local markets. A key challenge is to assist the company through major acquisitions.

The TAQA win marks an expansion of MS&L’s corporate team and Capital MS&L’s presence in the Middle East. The immediate focus of MS&L’s program is North America, Europe and the Middle East, but will expand to include the full range of TAQA’s operations including North Africa and Asia over the coming months. The account will be coordinated out of MS&L’s London office.

“The appointment of MS&L as our global communications partner is part of our longer term strategy to become a leading global blue chip energy company,” said Peter Barker-Homek, CEO of TAQA.  “By working with MS&L, we will extend our international communications reach and develop best practice communications capabilities to support TAQA’s rapid growth.”
