Music Merchants' Association NAMM Selects GolinHarris

NAMM, a not-for-profit international trade association for music merchants, has selected GolinHarris as agency of record to lead its public relations initiatives.

LOS ANGELES—NAMM, a not-for-profit international trade association for music merchants, has selected GolinHarris as agency of record to lead its public relations initiatives. The agency will support NAMM’s ongoing activities in the areas of music education and advocacy, government relations, industry leadership, traditional and social media, and issues management.

 

GolinHarris’ campaign goals for NAMM include expanding mainstream editorial coverage of the “Wanna Play?” national awareness program. NAMM is the not-for-profit association that unifies, leads and strengthens the international musical instruments and products industry.

The account is led out of the Los Angeles office by Chris Volk, vice president.

 

“We really wanted an agency that felt the same kind of passion about music and its benefits as we did,” says Scott Robertson, NAMM’s director of marketing and communications. “GolinHarris not only has passion, it also has the experience and creativity we were looking for in an agency.”
