NEW YORK—Weber Shandwick has promoted three senior executives in its European operations. Rolf Olsen was promoted to chief executive officer of Weber Shandwick in continental Europe; Sally Ward to vice chairman of Weber Shandwick Europe; and Josep Catlla to chief executive of the Brussels office.

Since joining Weber Shandwick in 2001, Olsen has played a key role in managing practices and international client relationships. As vice chairman for Europe he will continue to help develop key international client relationships, while in his role as CEO of Weber Shandwick’s continental European operations, Olsen will focus on growing and expanding operations in the region.

Ward was promoted from the position of deputy CEO, Weber Shandwick U.K. to vice chairman of Weber Shandwick in Europe. She will help lead Weber Shandwick’s practice areas, develop the increasing number of integrated communications programs, oversee new business development across the network and will work with Tim Sutton, chairman of Weber Shandwick Europe, on overall business strategy.

Catlla most recently served as managing director of the Brussels office after moving from his role as managing director of the agency in Spain.
