New Management for Spain's Image Group Following MBA

Image Group, the parent of Spanish public relations firms Perception&Image and Image Profile, has been taken over by a new generation of owners following a management buyout led by Víctor Sánchez del Real and Enrique Pascual.

MADRID—Image Group, the parent of Spanish public relations firms Perception&Image and Image Profile, has been taken over by a new generation of owners following a management buyout led by Víctor Sánchez del Real and Enrique Pascual, two of the leading directors running the company, with the financial support of Prince Capital Partners, a venture capital firm.

 

The aim of the new owners is to broaden the company’s field of activity and gain a foothold in new areas, including the establishment of an international presence in the next two years in the Mediterranean region and Latin America, where the company has already solid links with local independent partners.

 

Image Group, founded in 1996, closed 2008 with a turnover of nearly €4 million and a workforce of over 55 people.  Perception&Image, which was recently awarded as "best agency in Spain 2008" by prnoticias.com, works for clients including Imaginarium, Telefónica, Cisco, Unisys, Junta de Castilla y León, Ratiopharm, Diageo, Foro Interalimentario, L'Oreal Profesionelle, Entel, Servicio de Certificación de los Registradores, Take Two Interactive, Kyocera, and Federación Española de Centros tecnológicos (FEDIT). Image Profile works with clients such as Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, aDeSe (the video-game industry association), Datawind, Redtech Mobile, European Property Development Group and Grupo Integra. The group also includes corporate intelligence service Presstracking.

 

Sánchez del Real will be the group’s CEO and managing director, while Pascual will be serve on the board and as managing director of Perception&Image, the largest of the group’s firms.
