May joined the firm in January this year as chairman of the U.K. healthcare practice. He has 30 years experience in the healthcare sector, most recently as president of Ogilvy’s European network.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Bush administration veteran Jeffrey Bloemker has joined Rhoads|Weber Shandwick Government Relations as associate. ENGLEWOOD, CO—Starz Encore Group has named Allyson Taylor to the newly created position of manager of public relations in the Starz corporate communications department. Taylor will report to Eric Becker, executive director of corporate communications. Taylor will be responsible primarily for coordinating and implementing local public relations campaigns, including working with cable and satellite affiliates to generate publicity for Starz services. Most recently, Taylor was director of communications for Dave & Buster’s, an operator of large-format entertainment complexes based in Dallas.
