NFIB Exec Launches Firm Focused on Small Business

David Cullen, former vice president of public affairs for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), which lobbies on behalf of small business interests, is starting his own public relations firm.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—David Cullen, former vice president of public affairs for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), which lobbies on behalf of small business interests, is starting his own public relations firm, David Cullen Public Relations.
 
Cullen worked for NFIB for 19 years, and also worked in public relations for Internet-based media company TappedInto.Com, the Independent Petroleum Association, the U.S. Navy, and as a press secretary for former Sen. Peter Dominick, Colorado Republican.
 
Dan Danner, NFIB’s vice president of public policy, said the organization plans to use Cullen’s firm on a retainer basis.
