MINNEAPOLIS—Kansas City-based advertising agency NKH&W, which opened a Minneapolis office in February, has hired Bob Rumpza, formerly of Weber Shandwick Worldwide, as senior vice president of public relations in the Twin Cities.
Rumpza formerly was executive vice president at Weber Shandwick in Minneapolis, serving nearly 18 years with the firm and most recently leading its corporate relations group.
“Bob is a great catch for us because we believe in integrated communications solutions for clients, including advertising, PR, interactive and direct,” said Jim Bergeson, president of NKH&W Minneapolis. “He is an experienced pro in the PR wars, and is one of the best in the industry in handling crisis communications.”
Rumpza’s past clients include The Scotts Company, The Toro Company, Honeywell, Ecolab and Koch Petroleum. He was leader of the crisis management team for Dairy Management.
