CINCINNATI—Integrated marketing agency Northlich has named Mark Willis as leader of its public relations practice, promoting Rick Miller to chief growth officer. Willis, vice president and general manager of Northlich’s Columbus and Cleveland offices, will take on responsibility for leading the agency’s public relations offering and is charged with bringing the practice into alignment with the agency’s focus on brand engagement and interactive communications.

Willis joined Northlich’s Cleveland office almost three years ago after Northlich acquired a smaller firm there. He was promoted last spring to general manager of both the Columbus and Cleveland offices, where he has overseen the interactive team as well as integrated account teams for clients such as Macy’s, Ohio State University Medical Center, Key Bank, American Greetings, GS1-US and Cardinal Health.

Prior to joining Northlich, Willis served as senior vice president and partner in the Cleveland office of Fleishman-Hillard.

Miller, previously president of public relations, has been named chief growth officer, responsible for agency growth and business development. He has created and managed award-winning communications programs for leading brands including Apple, Levi Strauss, P&G, Valvoline and others. Before joining Northlich, he was an executive with Burson-Marsteller, first in Chicago and later in San Francisco, where he served as senior vice president/general manager.
