Ogilvy Hires Roberts to Lead U.K. Office

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has named Kerrin Roberts as managing director of its U.K. operation. Reporting to Martin Liptrot, the firm’s London-based CEO of Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Roberts will assume all day-to-day responsibilities for the U.K. office.

LONDON—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has named Kerrin Roberts as managing director of its U.K. operation. Reporting to Martin Liptrot, the firm’s London-based CEO of Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Roberts will assume all day-to-day responsibilities for the U.K. office and lead the senior management team in Ogilvy’s London business.

Roberts, a British national who trained as a lawyer, joins Ogilvy from Ketchum in New York where he led international public relations campaigns for a clients including FedEx, Kodak, Estée Lauder and Western Union.

Earlier in his career he worked in CNN’s press office in London and moved to Atlanta to head up PR for CNN Interactive before switching to the agency side with Ketchum in Atlanta, before promotions took him to Hong Kong and New York.

“Kerrin has a tremendous pedigree and experience of winning and managing multinational business and overseeing multi-market teams and campaigns,” says Liptrot.
