Ogilvy Names AoR for Zebra Technologies

Following a competitive selection process, Zebra Technologies Corporation, a global leader in specialty printing, automatic identification solutions and real-time locating solutions, selected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its new global agency of record.

CHICAGO—Following a competitive selection process, Zebra Technologies Corporation, a global leader in specialty printing, automatic identification solutions and real-time locating solutions, selected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its new global agency of record.  

 

Zebra Technologies will partner with Ogilvy PR on corporate communications and product public relations programming for its two main divisions, specialty printing and Zebra Enterprise Solutions. Efforts will also include the consolidation of global public relations programming to ensure brand and message consistency.

 

“As the Zebra brand evolves, we need an agency partner that combines a deep expertise in technology PR and corporate communications with the thorough understanding of branding,” says Tara Ryan, vice president of corporate marketing. “We felt Ogilvy PR is the right partner and were impressed with its ability to combine these disciplines, the global footprint and its understanding of the business challenges we face.”

 

The global Zebra account will be led out of Ogilvy PR’s Chicago office with support from teams in select markets around the world such as San Francisco, London and Singapore.  Work is now underway in the U.S. and will roll out globally, beginning with select markets in EMEA and then APAC.
