Ogilvy Opens New Office in Lisbon

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has opened Ogilvy Comunicação & Imagem, a new office, in Lisbon, Portugal. Miguel Moreira Rato has been named to head the new office and oversee the growth of Ogilvy Public Relations in Portugal.

NEW YORK, July 22—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has opened Ogilvy Comunicação & Imagem, a new office, in Lisbon, Portugal. Miguel Moreira Rato has been named to head the new office and oversee the growth of Ogilvy Public Relations in Portugal.
 
Rato will work closely with the CEO of the Ogilvy companies in Portugal, António Vieira da Silva, who says, “Our hard work and preparation in forming Ogilvy Comunicação & Imagem will undoubtedly place us among top-ranked PR firms. This new capability in Portugal will broaden our offering, reinforcing our 360-degree strategy. public relations will play a very important part in providing integrated communication solutions to our clients.”
 
CEO and chairman of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Bob Seltzer said that the Portugal office would heighten Ogilvy’s ability to provide global reach to its clients. “Our new office in Portugal will expand our European presence, providing for comprehensive public relations programs and improved delivery of client service.  Our goal is to become one of the three largest public relations companies in Portugal within three years.”
