NEW YORK— Twin Cities-based Olson is expanding its New York presence with the the addition of two senior executives to its PR and social media team, including former Waggener Edstrom corporate practice leader Michele Clarke (pictured) as vice president.
Clarke led Waggener Edstrom's global corporate practice and served as general manager of the firm's New York office. She also held leadership roles at Brainerd Communicators, Hill & Knowlton and Burson Marsteller. She has expertise in digital media and technology and has worked with clients such as Comcast, HTC, Intel, Lionsgate, Microsoft, Motorola, Pixar, Qualcomm, Time Warner Cable and Verizon.
Alyssa Sperber also joins as vice president, brand engagement, most recently from Dentsu, where she was vice president of branding and development. Previously, she was director of brand partnerships at Clear Channel Communications.
Clarke and Sperber join Marie Espinel, whose tenure at Olson dates to its PR and social media group's founding as Dig Communications in Chicago. Clients served by the expanded office include Crain Communications, PepsiCo, Skift, Soul Electronics, Time Warner Cable, TiVo, #waywire and Wrigley.
