Potash Steps Down From Firm He Founded

Stephen Potash, a longtime public relations consultant to logistics, container-shipping and international business organizations, will retire from full-time involvement with his firm, Potash & Company.

OAKLAND CA—Stephen Potash, a longtime public relations consultant to logistics, container-shipping and international business organizations, will retire from full-time involvement with his firm, Potash & Company. Jeremy Potash will continue as president and take over as chief executive, working primarily on the California-Asia Business Council account. Potash plans to continue to do some part-time consulting. 

 Potash entered the field 38 years ago in San Francisco and started his own firm with his wife Jeremy in 1980. The firm has worked with numerous clients since then, including 25 years with APL, 24 years with the California-Asia Business Council, and 15 years with JETRO (the Japan External Trade Organization).
