LONDON—Following the appointment of Dave Scott as new global communications director, Psion, the global mobile computing company, has appointed Fishburn Hedges to a wide-ranging corporate reputation management brief.

Fishburn Hedges will be working with Psion’s new management team to raise the company’s profile among key business and trade audiences in U.K. and pan-European media. It will also work closely with Psion’s agencies overseas to orchestrate a consistent corporate story across different markets and develop a new campaign focused around Psion innovations.

The Fishburn Hedges team is led by chief executive Simon Matthews and director Jason Nisse, who will report to Scott, who says: “We’ve been relatively quiet in the last few years, but there is a massive heritage of innovation at Psion.  We want to make a once iconic brand great again and, with a strong new management team in place, there’s a great story to be told.  The Fishburn Hedges team shares our vision and, we believe, will be able to help us tell that story in a compelling way.”

Fishburn Hedges will work alongside Brunswick, which remains as Psion’s City and financial PR agency.
