Qorvis Names Two New Directors

Qorvis Communications has hired Alfred Black and Jennifer Baskerville Stoltz have joined the firm as directors. Black most recently was involved in marketing and public relations for Stratos Global Corporation and Stoltz joins from CNN’s Washington, D.C., bureau, where she was a producer.

MCLEAN, VA—Qorvis Communications has hired Alfred Black and Jennifer Baskerville Stoltz have joined the firm as directors. Black most recently was involved in both marketing and public relations for Stratos Global Corporation and Stoltz joins from CNN’s Washington, D.C., bureau, where she was a producer. 

Black was the senior communications manager at Stratos Global Corp., a publicly owned global provider of remote communication solutions for the government, military, aeronautic and oil and gas sectors. He integrated the marketing and public relations functions of disparate global offices and newly acquired companies throughout Canada, the U.S. and Asia-Pacific. Previously, he was the director of public relations at OneSoft Corp., an e-commerce software developer.

Prior to joining Qorvis, Stoltz was a producer at CNN’s Washington, D.C. bureau, where she followed foreign policy and public diplomacy issues and produced packages for CNN’s State Dept. correspondent Andrea Koppel. In addition, she produced stories for Headline News, CNN International and other CNN specials around the Washington, D.C. area.
