Rendine to Lead Communications at NYSE Euronext

NYSE Euronext has appointed Robert Rendine as senior vice president and global head of corporate communications. Rendine is currently vice president of global corporate affairs at GE Capital Global Banking.

NEW YORK—NYSE Euronext has appointed Robert Rendine as senior vice president and global head of corporate communications. Rendine, currently vice president of global corporate affairs at GE Capital Global Banking, will be responsible for corporate communications across NYSE Euronext, including media relations, executive communications and broadcasting. He will report to Andrew Brandman, executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

 

Since 2008, Rendine has led global corporate affairs from London for GE Capital Global Banking, one of the largest financial businesses in GE Capital. He has been responsible for developing and implementing external and internal messaging strategies and corporate social responsibility.

 

Rendine joined General Electric Co. in 2003 as vice president of global communications at GE Money in Stamford, Conn., advising senior management on global strategic communications issues, overseeing a network of communicators in more than 50 countries, developing all significant executive communications, directing strategic messaging and setting global CSR strategy. 

 

Earlier, he was senior vice president, corporate communications at the American Stock Exchange, responsible for providing counsel to senior management and directing all external and internal communications, and was vice president of corporate communications for GTECH Holdings Corp.
