LONDON: UK consumer agency Resonate has lured Will Scougal from rival firm Mischief to become its new creative director.
Scougal, who spent the past two years as head of digital and creative director at Mischief, will report to Resonate MD Michael Frohlich. He joins one year after previous Resonate creative director Graham Drew departed to join ad agency, and Chime Communications sibling, VCCP.
At Resonate, Scougal is tasked with enhancing the agency’s creative and digital capabilities, with a specific focus on content creation and integrated communications.
“As we embark on our next chapter of growth, we see the key to successful communications is one powerful brand idea cascading through multiple channels,” said Frohlich. “Will is the first of the exciting hires we will be announcing in the near future.”
Prior to joining Mischief in 2009, Scougal was head of digital content at Cake Group. Before that he worked at digital agencies AKQA and Greenroom Digital.
