NEW YORK—Management Sciences for Health, an international nonprofit organization that helps public and private organizations effectively manage people, medicines, money and information, has selected RF|Binder Partners to provide communications support to its leadership management and sustainability program, a five-year, USAID-funded project focused on improving health in developing countries through the expansion of the leadership and management skills.
RF|Binder will provide strategic communications counsel and support to the program, facilitating its outreach to client organizations, decision makers, technical assistance providers and global organizations. The firm will handle outreach initiatives and relationship building with media and influencers in the public sector, NGO, international development and healthcare sectors and will travel to LMS field sites in Egypt, Uganda, Nicaragua, Brazil and other locations to document the impact of healthcare leadership development.
“A key mandate of the LMS Program is raising the visibility of and generating awareness about the impact of improving leadership and management on securing better health outcomes in the developing world,” says Joseph Dwyer, director of the program. “After reviewing RF|Binder’s domestic and international capabilities and experience working with both public sector and non-profit organizations, we determined that it was the clear choice for our needs.”
