Rogers & Cowan Adds Film and Television Talent Specialist

Tej Herring, founder of THPR, a boutique public relations agency specializing in developing emerging film and television talent, has joined Weber Shandwick-owned entertainment public relations specialist Rogers & Cowan.

LOS ANGELES—Tej Herring, founder of THPR, a boutique public relations agency specializing in developing emerging film and television talent, has joined Weber Shandwick-owned entertainment public relations specialist Rogers & Cowan. Herring will be based in the agency’s Los Angeles office and report to senior vice president of personalities, Cheryl Maisel.            

Herring who will be vice president at R&C, brings her firm’s client roster into the Rogers & Cowan fold, including Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez (Chuck), Joel David Moore (Avatar), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), Sam Jaeger (Parenthood), Kevin Sorbo (Meet the Spartans) and Mark Moses (Desperate Housewives, Mad Men”).

 

Herring began her career at PLPR, where she worked with clients in the television, film and music space. Some of her previous clients have included Sean Astin, Sugar Ray Leonard and Josh Holloway.  Additionally, Herring worked closely with Tribune handling its syndicated show Andromeda and with Showtime in launching and running a PR campaign for the show Masters of Horror.
