NEW YORK—Ruder Finn has been retained by Sentient, A pioneer and leader in private jet membership, to develop and implement a full-scale public relations program.

Ruder Finn’s corporate communications practice will manage an awareness program that addresses a number of timely issues, including that in an uncertain economy, individuals and corporations who want to fly privately, but don’t want to lock themselves into large capital commitments, have a flexible, practical and economic alternative in private jet membership.

According to Mark Stone, CEO of Sentient, “We were impressed by Ruder Finn’s ability to communicate integrated business and lifestyle messages, and we are confident that the agency will raise Sentient’s media profile.”

Will Steere, executive vice president, and Erika Freed, senior vice president, will lead the Sentient account team.

SAN FRANCISCO—Ruder Finn has added two new clients to its San Francisco consumer technology practice: Ceiva Logic, a leading developer of digital photo receivers; and Confoti, a business dedicated to creating new media for self-expression through digital images. Ruder Finn will be responsible for providing strategic counsel and high-visibility communications programs including product launches, media relations and other corporate initiatives.

“We chose Ruder Finn because they provide the perfect blend of consumer experience with a deep knowledge of the technology industry. Its expertise in building consumer brands and delivering high quality results made them an ideal communications partner,” said Corinne Wayshak, CEO of Confoti. “The team hit the ground running with a Today Show placement, and we’re looking forward to a great holiday season.”
