LONDON—Samsung has hired Good Relations to oversee corporate and B2B PR in the UK and Ireland.
The appointment follows a competitive review. Good Relations joins an agency roster that already includes Red Consultancy and Kazoo, who each handle specific consumer PR duties.
In addition to overseeing corporate PR, Good Relations will aim raise awareness of Samsung’s B2B solutions and build its profile as a credible business technology leader.
The corporate effort is part of a broader attempt by Samsung to to create a stronger understanding of the company's corporate story.
The Holmes Report understands that Samsung is also currently seeking corpoate PR support on a regional European basis. Edelman is Samsung's global AOR for corporate PR duties.
"We feel it's the right time for us to tell Samsung's corporate narrative and this new brief will provide a personal face to our story, enhancing Samsung’s visibility with key commentators, customers and the industry," said Samsung UK and Ireland head of PR Rachel Lloyd.
"We will be giving our leadership team a platform and voice that speaks to our customers on subjects relevant to them, showing where Samsung’s products have potential to add real value to people’s lives."
