Sarbutts Named to Lead Burson's Communique Operation

Burson-Marsteller has named Nigel Sarbutts as the new managing director of its Manchester and London-based marketing public relations subsidiary, Communiqué PR. Sarbutts will report directly to Heidi Sinclair, president & CEO of Burson-Marsteller Europe.

MADRID—Burson-Marsteller has named Nigel Sarbutts as the new managing director of its Manchester and London-based marketing public relations subsidiary, Communiqué PR. Sarbutts will report directly to Heidi Sinclair, president & CEO of Burson-Marsteller Europe. Communiqué focuses on what it calls “original thinking”, offering both brand marketing and business-to-business public relations. Sarbutts, who succeeds Neil Honor, will be responsible for growing and developing the consumer marketing business under the Communiqué brand. He will be based in Manchester, from where he will oversee the London and Manchester Communiqué offices. Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, Sarbutts was managing director of Connectpoint PR, a midsize agency based in Manchester. He started his career at Communiqué in 1988 as an account director and also ran his own consultancy specializing in consumer and issues management work.
