SAN FRANCISCO—Greenough Communications has been tapped to lead the U.S. public relations efforts for Shure, a Grammy-winning supplier of audio electronics. Greenough will develop corporate, product and cause-related marketing communications initiatives for the Chicago area-based Shure, a leader in the professional audio industry and an emerging player in consumer markets.

Greenough will develop a business communication strategy that builds on the company’s reputation in the professional arena and utilizes powerful storytelling to foster brand loyalty in the consumer market. In addition, Greenough will focus its efforts on raising awareness for Shure’s philanthropic efforts such as the Shure Bid for Hearing Campaign and the Shure Musical Roots program, both of which aim to educate the public on the dangers of noise-induced hearing loss.
