LONDON—Brands2Life has been hired by global supply chain standards body, GS1 U.K. as its retained agency following a competitive pitch. Brands2Life’s remit is to raise awareness of the value of supply chain standards through high-impact, issues-driven campaigns aiming at the retail and healthcare markets in particular.

The relationship began with B2L launching GS1 U.K.’s Data Crunch report examining the savings opportunities for retailers through data standards. GS1 launched it alongside Sainsbury’s, P&G and Unilever and achieved national, broadcast and widespread trade coverage including two front pages.

“Brands2Life showed a strong understanding of our business throughout the pitch process and presented genuinely new ways to build GS1 U.K.’s profile,” says GS1 U.K. marketing and PR manager Tom Beston. “Their ability to deliver strong media coverage has already been proven with the launch of our Data Crunch report which has delivered by far the broadest media coverage of any of our previous campaigns.”
