WOBURN, MA—Topaz Partners has expanded its buzz media and online communications with the launch of BMOC 2.0, a suite of online communications offerings including blog, podcast and videocast management; blog monitoring and online visibility tracking; news release optimization; online executive communications counsel; and other strategic “buzz media” initiatives.

According to principal partner Tony Sapienza, BMOC 2.0 services are designed to address a broad range of business priorities for any organization, including start-ups looking to create an online presence, growing companies launching new products or services, and established companies building corporate credibility through digital media.

Specific services include: BMOC Needs Assessment, an evaluation of online communications, including a report on opportunities, challenges and an activity plan; BMOC Monitoring, which tracks blogs, newsgroups and other online channels to help organizations identify opportunities and challenges; BMOC Participation, which helps organizations engage in conversations with other online community members; BMOC Community Building, focused on the creation of online communities; and BMOC Optimization for the launch of websites and online press rooms, including web-optimized news releases.

“As we began to identify the next steps in evolving our BMOC services, we placed a major emphasis on education aimed at helping our staff to better understand resources like blogs, RSS, wikis and podcasts, and more importantly how to put these to work for our clients,” says Sapienza. “Over the past year, Topaz has seen a major step forward in blog awareness, and we expect much more adoption as the online communications wave continues to spread across corporate America.”

The firm’s first online communications suite was launched in 2004.
